We met in high school but, we didn't really know each other that well. After high school, we had the same group of friends, and it was until that time that we started to get to know one another. The friend group split up and we lost touch after that. It wasn't until a year or so later that I was visiting friends back east and out of the blue, he texted me. When I was back in Eureka, we started to spend more time together and picked up where our friendship had left off. On January 1st, 2017, Travis asked me to be his girlfriend. On December 9th, 2023, Travis asked me to marry him.
